Global Leadership Academy

Empower Global Leadership Academy is an on-site missionary training program developed to equip missionaries for effective frontline, cross-cultural ministry around the world. The training will include classroom, reading, research, labs and most importantly, firsthand, on-the-job cross-cultural ministry experience. The coursework will be conducted by a team of experienced missionaries.

APPLICANT QUALIFICATIONS:

Each applicant must:

  • Be committed to full-time missionary service in a foreign country within one year of completion.

  • Have graduated from a Bible college, or approved church based Bible school or served in a church for at least 5 years.

  • Be out of debt.

  • Commit to 10 uninterrupted weeks to complete EGLA in its entirety.

  • Have a valid passport not expiring within 6 months of the end of EGLA.

  • Have sufficient funds to pay for the course and meet all financial obligations over the 10-week course.

  • If married, attend with your spouse.

  • Complete and sign the Enrollment Application.

  • Complete and sign the Release of Liability form.

  • Give consent to perform a background check.

  • Provide full travel and health insurance for the duration of the 10-week training.

  • Provide proof of airfare and travel to Chiang Mai, Thailand to arrive by date to be determined.

TRAINING INFORMATION:

When:
Due to COVID-19 and the international travel restrictions imposed by the government of Thailand, Empower Global Leadership Academy is closed until further notice.

Where:
Chiang Mai, Thailand

Cost: $3,600 per person (All inclusive)

This includes all food, lodging, living, and in-country transportation costs related to the training program as well as a 10-day mission to Myanmar.

It does not include airfare to Thailand, extracurricular costs such as personal trips, sightseeing, souvenirs, or personal items.

Payment structure:

  • $50 Application Fee (Non-refundable | applied to total cost.)

  • $950 Course Fee Deposit.

  • $2,600 Course Fee.
